Chicken & Bread Heritage Festival

We want you to be a part of the 2oth Annual Chicken and Bread Days Heritage Festival. This fun-filled family event, produced by Main Street Bowie, celebrates the colorful history of Bowie, Texas. The festival gets its name from Amon G. Carter and his boyhood friends who sold chicken and biscuits at Bowie’s train depots in the early 1900s.
